Power is not Bought

The Elite’s are Violent
We constantly hear politicians say “political violence is never ok,” and things like, “peaceful protesting is the only way forward,” but what if I told you that was bullshit? What if I told you those same people have a monopoly on violence and kill millions just to protect their own wealth and power. The ruling class uses violence every single day to exploit YOU, abuse YOU, and keep you in line so you don’t ever do anything about it. Cutting SNAP is violence (millions will lose access to food), ICE is violence, militarized police who kill and beat people daily is violence. A war machine that slaughters children every single day abroad for the sake of the elite’s profit is violence.
So, why do they tell us that nonviolence is the only answer? That any sort of “violence” is unacceptable? They tell us that damaging property is unacceptable, that the targeting of CEO’s responsible for thousands of deaths and millions of bankruptcies is reprehensible, but yet consider your death, be it suicide from the weight of their oppression or death by being too poor to afford healthcare, is as simply a part of life. They tell us that nonviolence is the only answer because they know when the working class unites under a coherent liberation movement, they have no chance to stop us. They killed the Black Panther for that very reason. The Panthers told the people to unite and pickup the gun to defend their communities; to defend each other.
The ruling class knows that under a united banner, we will take our liberation and power back from their corrupt, greedy hands. But to do so would require violence. So, they white wash our history, like MLK Jr, to fit their “non-violent” agenda while ignoring his strategic use of violence. They also neglect to mention he was also a socialist. They demonize the leaders who made real material change like Huey Newton and Malcom X through means of armed struggle to not simply make us forget them, but to make us see them and their methods and movement in a negative light. I mean, did you even learn about the Battle of Blair Mountain in school? No. Why not? Because then they would have to teach you about the largest labor uprising in U.S. history, led by socialists and unionists, who changed the entire work-scape in the nation.
This is why they’ve created a monopoly on violence, so we don’t arm and stand together. We have accepted that the ruling elites own and control the state, the police, the military, and will use them all to kick us in the teeth.
Why Do They Exploit Us
A capitalist government can never be on the side of the working class, as it directly benefits from our exploitation. They live above us, outside of our strifes and struggles. They make the laws that only affect us, while bending and breaking them for their own personal gain and for the gain of their friends. They rely on our wages being kept low, our hours kept high, and expenses skyrocketing. They may occasionally offer small concessions, but never anything to materially change the fabric of society in YOUR favor.
I can’t think of anything more corrupt than allowing the ones who make money off of our labor to make the laws around labor protection and labor rights. The same ones making money off you not being able to afford healthcare are the same people making the laws about healthcare costs. They exploit us not because they have to, but because it’s how they make their money. And for the elites, money is the only thing that matters.
Power is not Bought
Too often I hear people say, “but what can we do? That’s life!” And I despise that sentiment. That’s a lazy, cowardice mindset that you’ve accepted because doing the necessary work would be hard. I hear people say, “money is power,” but I disagree with that as well. We’ve seen time and time again throughout the world that money might buy you a nice car, it might buy you a factory, it might buy you a watch, but it won’t make you bullet proof. That may sound dramatic, but it’s not. Paraphrasing Chairman Mao, and Fred Hampton, power flows from the barrel of a gun. And as such, liberation also flows from the barrel of a gun.
Now, for clarity, the gun itself is not liberation. The gun can be used to oppress, to kills, abuse, exploit. Just like it can be used to liberate, save, grow, and protect. The gun is not dangerous, the person behind the gun is. The person holding the gun dictates the outcome. The revolutionary with a gun is 10x more powerful than an elite with a billion dollar bank account. And the revolutionary with the support of the people is infinitely more powerful than the elite with any amount of money. Power is seated with the people, and the only reason the elites can exploit us is because we give them the power to do so. Comrade, it is time to take that power back.
Let me be clear, comrades. I am not telling you to be belligerent or randomly violent. That is just as dangerous and counterrevolutionary as the violence of the elites. You must be well educated on revolutionary theory. You must be organized and active in your community. You must arm the people. You must defend the people.
Power is not bought, it is built and organized. It is trained and educated in revolutionary theory. Power is stocked on shelves across the nation, and most often chambered in 9mm or 5.56.
